Optimal planning of available equipment
Effective equipment planning allows you to make optimal use of the available equipment (as well as space) within your company. This allows you to make optimal use of your often costly equipment and your (meeting) rooms.
What does Planning.nl's equipment planning offer?
Record availability
For each resource, you can record whether and when it can be used. For example, you can record when equipment is unavailable due to loan or maintenance.
Recording absences
All types of unavailability can be defined and recorded: maintenance, loan, MOT, etc... This can be recorded down to the quarter hour level.
Record equipment properties
By linking the specifications and properties to the properties requested/required in the project, the right equipment can be linked to the project request. Certificates and their expiry dates can also be recorded for the competencies. Notifications can be generated automatically based on upcoming expiry dates.
Recording inspection dates
By recording when your equipment needs to be inspected, you can also record the maintenance of the inspection in the inspection and thus ensure that you always work with inspected equipment where necessary. Notifications can be generated automatically based on upcoming expiry dates. This can be used to ensure that quality and safety requirements for the work carried out with this equipment are met.
Planning projects
Assignments are made from the “projects” planning board based on the requested characteristics of the equipment. These assignments are made visible in the project planning.
Planning individual tasks
Equipment can also be scheduled for individual tasks that are not project-related. These are often maintenance tasks or odd jobs.
Recording documents
All relevant documents, such as inspection certificates, certificates, etc... can be linked to the master file.
